IT WAS AMAAAAAAZINGGGGGGGG.
Only thing that disappointed me was that they did that corny view-of-applauding-audience routine, but hell this is an American movie and you have to expect it.
I'm not even a Trekkie, and I want to see it again. Not sure what that's saying... But David IS a Trekkie, and he wants to see it again. Maybe that says even more.
IT IS THAT FUCKING GOOD.
My parents are supposed to go see it today.
On a side note, the whole concept reminded me a WHOLE lot of the Tenchi Muyo! 3rd OVA series. A LOT. Except the execution of the concept was 495823785763867x better. (Honestly, I love Tenchi, but the third OVA just completely changed styles both in plot and art and I dunno if I liked it all that much, but it was nice to have some sort of closure to the series.)
While I'm relating this to animated series: Kelly you are correct; SPOCK IS L. Lol "The likelihood that your plan will succeed is only 4.3%..." YEAH OK L.
David was like, "Why can't I be as badass as Spock?" And I was like "I think everyone wants that too" and later I was like "honestly you'd make a kickass Vulcan" and he seemed honored. :) Hehe. But it's true.
EDIT: HAHA youtube.
