So Eastman said no, for now. They said they invited me to come back and audition at a later time, so I get the impression my voice isn't ready for the curriculum, or something along those lines.
So, I'm crossing my fingers that the people at Peabody aren't hypocrites for saying I made their day.

Yeah, Renée Fleming didn't get in on her first try, either. lol

Eh, if I'm not happy where I wind up, I'll re-apply. If I am happy, I'll try for graduate work.
If I wind up at Peabody, I'm gonna be within an hour's drive (I think?) of a bunch of other DS kids at GW. Which will be weird, but nice as a backup. And if David goes to Johns Hopkins he'll be just a few blocks away, but I will still make new friends!!! lol
I'm just sad I won't be 45 minutes away from Emily... That would have been awesome. GAH when will they invent teleportation!?!??! *dies*
