Aug. 16th, 2003 07:34 pmOkay - Download listen to "One Night in Bangkok" and see if YOU can transcribe the rhythm of the intro. WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING??!? Don't they have any sympathy for high school juniors who want to arrange it for their school jazz band, select choir, and Jake? Okay, these are the meter changes so far:
12/8, 12/8, 4/8, 12/8, 4/8, 12/8, 12/8, 4/8, 12/8, 4/8, 10/8, 9/8, 10/8, 4/4, 4/8, 12/8, 10/8, 11/8, 7/8.
I know I did this this morning but my GOD. It still makes my brain overload just looking at it. Here's a midi file... It doesn't have anything but the melody of the intro; no drums or chords or anything but jeez, gimme a break. It has the right amount of space. www.geocities.com/honou_miko/Bangkok.mid
