Joan sings with me in choir at the Synagogue. She also works for the convention center. She saw my DN keychains a few months ago and asked, "Ooh, do you go to Otakon??" Apparently it's her favorite convention that comes into Baltimore. I told her yes and that I do video editing, and I let her know when I found out my AMV made the finals. She was super excited and insisted on coming to see the event. I sat with her and her husband, and it was a blast, and really awesome to have some friends with me in the audience for support, as I was pretty much on my own this year. ILU JOAN

I haven't even seen the series but I determined that if I were attracted to women I would probably be obsessed with this character. Discussed it with Ian and he was like "....yeah, until you see her COMPLETELY EVIL side, I mean, the whole dismembering people thing kind of ruins it." If a male character did that it wouldn't bother me but I wasn't gonna argue.
