GUYS.
I'm actually learning Mi chiamano Mimì. That last recording was just me screwing around with my aria book when I got home from my lesson, but I brought it in and he said it'd be good to learn it, and we worked on it in the lesson.
OH MY GOD it feels so amazing in my voice. I mean, I got it to sound pretty damn decent for a new aria, especially for 10:30 AM. XD
I had long since dismissed any notion of seriously singing Puccini, since so many people had told me I wouldn't ever do it. Stan said stuff like Mimì might be on my plate in the future, but I didn't think it would be THIS SOON. And Steve says there's no reason not to pursue this.
Soooooo excited. :D
