which suits me.
Please correct me if I'm wrong. Or if there's any better way to translate all the "bene" and still make it understandable. lol
Seriously though, that number has possibly one of the most eloquent and beautiful things ever said about Japanese culture, in my opinion:
We are a people accustomed
to tiny things,
humble and silent,
to a tenderness that barely touches
and yet is as deep as the sky
or as the sea's wave.
GAH it's just awesome. I love this opera.
