honoumikoOh my GOD Manon Lescaut is an amazing opera!! And at the beginning I was like, "wtf, where is this going" but it is SO good!! And I cried my eyes out at the end... I watched a video of it with Domingo and Scotto, and ohh man it was amazing. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING.
Thank GOD for Netflix.
And I can't get over how frigging much I love Puccini!! I mean, I watched La Traviata, and I was like "wow, that was awesome" but it didn't pull me in as much as this did. I have to see more Verdi before I make any more judgments, but jeez, Puccini just turns me into mush. I love it.
