honoumikoI GOT INTO PEABODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG so it came to my house, my mom tried to get in touch with me but she couldn't because I was in class so she called the music department here and the head of the music department came in and I thought he was gonna be alll "yooouuuu didn't leave your homework in my mailbox" but it was in the middle of chambers and he said to call my mom because she had news and I called and I squealed SOOO loud and I was all giddy and IRONICALLY Kate (who had gone there last year) was there visiting today!!! SO she found out right after I did along with everyone in chambers and it was awesome and I had even just told her how nervous I was at the beginning of class because of the whole ordeal yesterday and WOW my voice was weird today from the adrenaline aaahh I had a feeling from all those robins that I was seeing, those are always good luck for me, and then there was a spider in my dorm that I don't know where it went, and HOLY CRAP I AM EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though, I was listening to the mp3s of the stuff I sent in for Eastman, and I know I was sick, but I SUCKED! I should not have tried to do the songs I did for my auditions last year, I was not vocally ready for them. Oh well. Although I had a pretty big vocal leap after I got over that bug. Hmm. I'll never know, but that's okay, because spending one year here has worked out perfectly for me in so many ways, no matter how much of a pain in the ass it has been at times I know it's so good for me.
You know where you're going next year yet? It's funny, I was considering Hofstra if I didn't get in to Peabody, because they have a pretty darn good opera program, from what I've heard.
