AAAH that's so cool!

My godmother got me expensive seats to see Rigoletto... problem is she hates opera and was doing it just to treat me (she originally thought I was going to want to see a Broadway show) and show off the fact that she could afford expensive seats (she's like that). Plus she made no effort to tell the waiters at the restaurant that we were in a rush, nor did she run with me when we were late for the first three scenes or so. I was trying to run and she was like "relax, it's not gonna change anything."
I enjoyed it, though. Just wish I could have actually KNOWN the duke was the playa. (I don't remember the fake name, but it was Gilda's lover.) I didn't realize that until I went back and read the summary for a report, seeing as I don't like reading summaries during the thing so it's not spoiled.

That's wicked awesome though. I wish I lived closer to the Met!! :( haha
