Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you all.

Prospect Dining Hall has successfully pissed off all the students of Plymouth State University by serving fried chicken and watermelon for Black History month.

Granted, I think some of the other stuff they had was sort of valid, like they had this weird peanut butter stew, and I know a lot of African cooking involves peanuts. Don't know enough about African food to determine whether it's authentic or not. They also had "fried plantains." Now I dunno if African Americans deep fry them or what, but the Hispanics pan fry them in butter, and these things were like freeze-dried sawdust in the shape of a banana slice. Sorry attempt at plantains.

But Jesus. Fried chicken and watermelon. Well, what do you expect from middle-of-nowhere, NH? You're either WAY too careful about being PC or totally stupid and don't realize you're racist.

Ack! My dining hall is under construction, so its REALLY crazy. Even less choices than before, if possible. Crazy! The flip side is, we get to have a newer, huger one than before in the fall. AND we get mugs saying "I survived the dhall renovation". Sweet.
