Aug. 16th, 2005 08:43 pmI've come to admit that I'm really kind of ignorant when it comes to politics. I mean, I know I'm a democrat, and I know what my views are on the things I know about, but I guess my problem is I unfortunately haven't had the attention span to keep up with current events and what not, and plus being at Derryfield with a bunch of peers who went to the middle school and took justice and government and whatever else, I'd always felt out of place, and I regret not taking action earlier to get more educated on this stuff. Now the problem is I don't exactly know where to start... I know there are several people who read this that may know. I know one of my biggest problems is connecting names with positions and stuff like that. I have embarrassed myself, or at least felt incredibly awkward, many a time when I'm not able to effectively participate in a political or current event discussion because I don't know exactly what people are talking about. So, where do I start? I'd rather not sneak into a middle school government class, if I can avoid it.
