Dec. 31st, 2004 02:49 pmTop Ten things I've learned this year:
10. My hair does NOT curl unless done by a professional.
9. I didn't know people as well as I thought I did.
8. Flamboyant dance teachers can be real assholes.
7. The food at a college is a really big factor in, not so much deciding, but planning how you might live if the food is crap. *cough*HIGHLANDER*cough*
7a. Do not eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or other replacements of dinner late at night, your paunch will worsen.
6. Learn how to budget your money when you're living by yourself.
5. DO NOT LEAVE VITAMINS IN A STUFFY ROOM BY THE WARM WINDOW. THEY WILL GROW MOLD.
4. Don't commit yourself to multiple things and then procrastinate.
3. Don't trust people you've previously distrusted just because time has passed. They don't grow up.
2. Confidence can get you anywhere. Really. I'm not just saying that.
1. Love. Not blind infatuation, for once, but love.
