Dake no Shoki
Aug. 12th, 2006 12:10 am( If you care to watch the gigantic Chobits spoiler video and don't have an AMV.org account... )
David watched it because he guessed who ended up with whom. XD
For those of you who either don't care about Chobits or have already read/seen it, please watch. I love constructive criticism. ESPECIALLY if you are musically minded. Because I made a huge effort to really match up with the musicality of it all, not just the words and the rhythm. For example, I found this from when I first started working on it:
CurryMuttonPizza: but the end of only hope by mandy moore, where the cello goes to minor, then it goes to major for a second as if it's like "maybe.....??" and then it goes back to minor and it's like "...I'm sorry... no...."
CurryMuttonPizza: cellos can say that
So yeah. I worked my ass off for about ten days for a less-than-four-minute video. Granted, some days I didn't touch it because I knew I'd get stuck, but I didn't just throw this together. I went through 24 episodes of Chobits finding exactly the right clips, added digital effects to speed up, slow down, fade, line everything up so that it fit with the music. I've said that video/music editing is my other main passion besides just music itself. I'd love for anyone who wants to watch it to watch it, as long as you're not spoiling your own personal Chobits experience. ^_^
