Have you ever put Maria Callas singing Tu? tu? Piccolo Iddio! on repeat in the car, then gotten so into it you lip synch through all the Italian you can figure out from playing it over and over, and get all teary-eyed at your imaginary Amerasian kid, and unsheath an imaginary sword and stab yourself in the throat at the end?
And then get amused when a moth hits your windshield at "pei tuoi puri occhi, muor Butterfly..."?
