Sorted by rank in year 2009 I FIND OUT THAT MY SCHOOL HAS BEEN NECK IN NECK WITH TODAI SINCE 2006 ACCORDING TO THIS RANKING.

I was explaining to my mom that Tokyo U was an actual school and it was like having Death Note take place at Harvard or something. And I was like, "damn, wouldn't that be weird, having DN take place at your school" (ignoring the fact that a shit ton of other stuff takes place at Todai but sshhh). And I laughed it off.

So never mind, it's not like Harvard, it's like Hopkins. And now I'm imagining all this shit taking place at Hopkins and IT IS BLOWING MY MIND

OH DUDE, I WENT TO UCL. Sob, you and Light are both above me even though UCL tops Toudai on ... every ... single ... box.

Okay, he probably gets points for studying Law and not Eastern European Languages. But.

edit: And now you see why I didn't graduate. I can read a numerically ordered list, really. ^_^

Yeah, I don't really count myself as being ~in that league~ necessarily just becuase I'm at the music conservatory which wasn't even originally part of the university. They joined up later on. BUT I TOOK GERMAN THERE~ And my fiancé was an Applied Math major there, so that probably counts more. XD

I'm still hoping to get into Oxford or Cambridge one day just to say I can. I mean, if I brush up on my list-reading they pretty much have to let me in. <.<
